Last week we highlighted some pretty excellent Black Friday iOS game deals, many of which are still ongoing, but today is all about the cyber. Cyber Monday, to be exact. Yes, another totally made-up reason to have a bunch of sales! I’m not going to argue. While I’m sure there’s plenty of other things on sale today, what I really wanted to draw attention to is Abylight’s current Cyber Monday blowout. Headlining this would be the absolutely phenomenal Zelda-inspired action RPG Hyper Light Drifter ($0.99), which you can nab for a whopping 99¢. We gave Hyper Light Drifter 5 stars in our review and picked it as our Game of the Week when it released last year. It’s darn-near criminal selling a game of this caliber at this low of a price.

But wait, there’s more! All of Abylight’s iOS games are down to 99¢, and they basically only publish good stuff. This includes a trio of games from indie developer duo Locomalito and Gryzor87. First up is Super Hydorah ($0.99), a horizontal shoot ’em up inspired by the classics of the genre and also a game we enjoyed in our review. Then there is Cursed Castilla ($0.99), a game very heavily inspired by the Ghouls ‘n Ghosts series. It’s an absolutely fantastic game but due simply to its nature it’s a bit trickier than it should be playing with virtual controls. Thankfully the iOS version supports controllers as that’s the best way to experience it. Well worth a dollar either way though. And finally from the Locomalito lineup comes The Curse of Issyos ($0.99), a very Castlevania-esque action platformer. Yes, Locomalito’s “thing” is paying homage to classic titles, if you haven’t figured that out by now. The Curse of Issyos suffers a little bit from the virtual control finickiness of Cursed Castilla, but not to such a great extent, and it too supports physical controllers and is well worth your measly dollar.

Also on sale from Abylight is their unique not-quite-a-game-but-still-really-cool Qbics Paint ($0.99), which lets you build figures and designs out of voxels and then bring them to life in the real world via augmented reality. Again, worth more than a dollar! And to cap things off Abylight’s own in-house developed Apple Watch game Mindkeeper: The Lurking Fear ($0.99) is down to just a buck. If you wanted something to blow peoples’ minds that it runs on a tiny watch, Mindkeeper is that something. It’s not much more than roaming around a big mansion collecting items and encountering creepy crawlies, but I guarantee you’ve never seen an Apple Watch game with visuals this impressive. You don’t HAVE to play on an Apple Watch, as it supports other iOS devices, but that tiny screen on your wrist is where it has the most impact. It’s also surprisingly fun? I can’t say that about many other Apple Watch games.

So there you have it. All of these sales will run until December 2nd, so you have a couple of days to take advantage of them, but don’t dawdle. Also don’t forget that Abylight is getting ready to launch the donut runner Ninja Chowdown this Thursday, so enjoy feasting upon their backlog until then.
